Wright (lower body) returned to action for OHL Windsor on Thursday.

Wright was injured Jan. 26, but it appears he's recovered rather quickly. The 19-year-old is expected to remain in the juniors ranks for the rest of the season, though it's possible he could be called up to the Kraken if Windsor's season comes to an earlier than expected end.

Lauko was sent down to AHL Providence on Thursday, per CapFriendly.

Lauko had an assist in his only appearance during this stint with the big club. If the Bruins need forward depth after the All-Star break, he'd be a candidate for a recall.

Kotkaniemi registered two assists in Carolina's 5-1 victory over the Sabres on Wednesday.

Kotkaniemi has seven goals and 20 points in 51 games in 2022-23. He was held off the scoresheet for five straight contests from Jan. 14-25, but since then he's registered four assists over four games. Kotkaniemi's offensive pace is a bit below 2021-22, when the 22-year-old finished with 12 goals and 29 points in 66 contests.

Stepan netted a goal in Carolina's 5-1 win over Buffalo on Wednesday.

Stepan's marker came at 10:30 of the third period and extended the Hurricanes' lead to 4-1. He's up to five goals and eight points in 45 contests in 2022-23. Stepan entered the game averaging just 8:53 of ice time. Unless the 32-year-old's role increases substantially, he's unlikely to make regular offensive contributions.

Aho found the back of the net in a 5-1 win over Buffalo on Wednesday.

Aho opened the scoring with his power-play goal at 2:35 of the first period. He has 23 goals and 46 points in 44 contests in 2022-23. The 25-year-old is on a six-game goal-scoring streak and has contributed nine markers over that span.

Jarnkrok scored a goal on three shots and added three hits in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Bruins.

Jarnkrok has racked up four goals and four assists over his last 12 appearances. The 31-year-old got the Maple Leafs within a goal in the third period Wednesday, but Boston's Pavel Zacha quickly scored twice in response to lift the Bruins to the win. Jarnkrok has 12 tallies, 25 points, 66 shots on net, 36 hits and a plus-5 rating through 45 appearances this season.

Zadina (broken leg) was activated from injured reserve Thursday and sent to AHL Grand Rapids on a conditioning stint.

Zadina has missed almost three months with the injury, as he was hurt Nov. 5 versus the Islanders. The former sixth-overall pick in 2018, Zadina was pointless in nine games to start the season. He could return as early as Tuesday when the Red Wings host the Oilers.

Tuch provided a goal in a 5-1 loss to Carolina on Wednesday.

Tuch scored at 14:45 of the first period, which narrowed Carolina's lead to 3-1. He has 24 goals and 55 points in 50 games in 2022-23. Tuch has recorded at least a point in eight of his last nine contests.

Martinook supplied a goal in a 5-1 victory over Buffalo on Wednesday.

Martinook's marker was scored on an empty net at 18:19 of the third period while the Hurricanes were shorthanded. It was his 11th goal and 25th point in 51 games this season. The 30-year-old was somewhat quiet offensively by his standards in January, recording a goal and five points over 14 contests.

Noesen provided a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win over Buffalo on Wednesday.

Noesen found the back of the net at 10:05 of the first period to push Carolina's lead up to 2-0. He has nine goals and 24 points in 48 contests in 2022-23. Noesen was held off the scoresheet in five of his previous six games.

Marner scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-3 in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Bruins.

Since the start of January, Marner has racked up five goals and 13 assists, including 10 power-play points, over 15 games. The 25-year-old winger continues to be a steady source of offense. He's up to 19 tallies, 60 points (25 on the power play), 127 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 52 appearances this season.

Holmberg was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday.

Holmberg played versus the Bruins and went minus-2 Wednesday. He has 13 points and a plus-2 rating through 33 contests overall, and he could be back with the big club if it needs forward depth following the All-Star break.

Romanov has one goal, 14 assists, and a plus-6 rating in 52 games this season.

General manager Lou Lamoriello giving up a first-round pick for those numbers is getting harder and harder to justify. Romanov may have a future as a top-three defender, but he certainly isn't there yet and offers little to no fantasy value.

Walker has been held off the scoresheet in his last 10 contests.

Walker does have 13 hits and 19 blocks over that 10-game span though, which gives him two goals, nine points, 52 hits and 65 blocks in 46 contests this season. He's averaging just 15:05 of ice time this season, which is down from 18:33 over 123 contests from 2019-20 through 2021-22. Although he should continue to make regular contributions in terms of hits and blocks, his scoring pace isn't likely to increase meaningfully unless his role with the Kings grows.

Byram (lower body) is wearing a full-contact jersey at practice Thursday, Brennan Vogt of Full Press Hockey reports.

Byram played the first 10 games of the season and has been out since Nov. 5, a span of 38 games. Byram has been practicing of late, but Thursday was the first time he has been allowed to go all-out. The fourth-overall pick in the 2019 Draft, Byram has two goals and five points in 10 games this season. He could return as early as Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Burns netted a goal in a 5-1 win over Buffalo on Wednesday.

Burns scored at 12:47 of the first period to extend the Hurricanes' lead to 3-0. He has 10 goals and 37 points in 51 contests in 2022-23. Burns is on a seven-game point streak and has recorded four goals and eight points over that span.

Chatfield registered two assists in a 5-1 victory over Buffalo on Wednesday.

Chatfield also recorded a plus-2 rating, four PIM and one shot Wednesday. Through 51 contests this season, he has five goals, 11 points, 54 shots and a plus-15 rating. While Chatfield hasn't done much offensively in 2022-23, he has provided three goals and eight points over his last 10 games.

Holl logged an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Bruins.

Holl has done well lately, picking up four helpers and a plus-2 rating over his last five contests. The 31-year-old defenseman doesn't typically contribute offense at such a rate -- he's much more of a physical presence on the Maple Leafs' blue line. He has 11 points, a plus-12 rating, 40 shots on net, 100 hits, 89 blocks and 24 PIM through 52 games this season.

Luukkonen turned aside 29 of 33 shots in a 5-1 loss to Carolina on Wednesday.

Luukkonen allowed three goals on a staggering 17 shots in the first period. He held firm in the second frame, but Luukkonen surrendered another marker on four shots in the third. Carolina's final goal was scored on an empty net. Luukkonen fell to 13-6-2 with a 3.26 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 21 games this season. The 23-year-old has allowed at least three goals in three of his last four outings.

Raanta saved 29 of 30 shots in a 5-1 win over the Sabres on Wednesday.

Raanta was beaten by Alex Tuch at 14:45 of the first period, but Carolina still had a commanding 3-1 lead, and Raanta was perfect after that. The 33-year-old improved to 13-2-3 with a 2.46 GAA and a .902 save percentage in 19 contests this season. He's won his last three games while surrendering just four goals on 74 shots over that span.

Samsonov allowed five goals on 29 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Bruins.

Samsonov entered this game having won five of his last seven appearances. All of those wins came when he allowed two or fewer goals, which wasn't the case Wednesday, as the Bruins put up five goals on the 25-year-old. On a slightly positive note, he did pick up an assist on one of the Leafs' two goals. He's had more good moments than bad ones this season, as evidenced by a 17-6-2 record with a 2.42 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 25 appearances. With Matt Murray (ankle) hurt, Samsonov has picked up more starts of late, but the Maple Leafs' goaltending situation is likely to be a timeshare when both are healthy.

Woll was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday.

Woll was up with the Maple Leafs since Sunday due to Matt Murray's (ankle) absence. If Murray can't suit up following the All-Star break, Woll could be in line for another recall to the big club.

Ullmark stopped 33 of 35 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Ullmark entered Wednesday having lost his last two outings -- his first set of consecutive defeats of any kind all season. He's now faced 35 shots in each of his last three games, a total he'd seen in just two of the 14 contests before this recent challenging stretch. The 29-year-old improved to 26-4-1 with a 1.90 GAA and a .937 save percentage through 33 appearances. He'll represent the Bruins at the All-Star Game in Florida this weekend.

Raanta is slated to start on the road against Buffalo on Wednesday.

Raanta has a 12-2-3 record, 2.55 GAA and .897 save percentage in 18 contests this season. He's won his last two games while saving 41 of 44 shots over that span. Buffalo has the top-ranked offense with 3.76 goals per game.
